David Watts has earned the Certified Property Manager® (CPM®) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®), an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors®. The CPM® designation is awarded to real estate managers who have met the Institute’s rigorous requirements in the areas of professional education, examination and experience. CPM® Members must also abide by a rigorous Code of Professional Ethics that is strictly enforced by the Institute.
David is a Property Manager & the Secretary with Watts Realty Co., Inc. David is active in various civic and industry organizations. David graduated from Auburn University in 2007 with a Business Administration degree with a concentration in Family Business Management. David currently serves on YMCA Camp Cosby Board of Management as the sitting Chairman of their Strong Kids & Communities Campaign (2009, 2010 & 2011). He also serves as Vice President of Business Development on Homewood Chamber of Commerce & serving to help establish the Homewood Chamber Young Professionals. David was recognized as 2009 Adult Volunteer of the Year for YMCA Camp Cosby. David was recently acknowledged by Birmingham Business Journal’s annual Commercial Deals of the Year in 2010 when renovating & revitalizing multiple buildings in downtown Homewood on historical Eighteenth Street South. David niche is in property management for Watts Realty, currently managing majority of Watts’ management portfolio; although, he specializes in renovation & revitalizing old buildings for the next generation of Landlords & Tenants. David is currently performing a renovation of a 20,000 square feet office building in the heart of downtown Birmingham's central business district near Lynn Park & working a deal for another renovation on First Avenue North for additional Birmingham revitalization.
